Its stories of this sort that I love to read. I keep wondering, when will Nigerian football players put money aside first and think only about making the country proud? If our Super Eagles didn't put money in front of their eyes, thereby preventing themselves from seeing the ball in front of them, I am sure they would have performed very well in the last FIFA WORLD CUP.

Our super Falcons were given $7000 bonus each, by the Nigerian Football Federation, but Courtney Dike rejected her own. That bonus was for her participation in the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Canada. According to her, the honour of playing for the country was enough reward.

Although some people say she should have collected the money and donated it to an orphanage home, instead of giving the NFF officials more money to fight over. Lolz.

All the same, I am proud of her.
